Research

My current research focuses on understanding the biogeochemical and ecosystem characteristics that influence fate and bioaccumulation of PFAS in aquatic ecosystems, using a   combination of mechanistic modeling and field sampling. By better identifying the characteristics of high-risk ecosystems, we hope to inform the prioritization of monitoring, management, and regulation of contaminated systems to minimize human exposure.
