Research

My research focuses on the physical and chemical properties of perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and how these properties may affect transport in the environment and the human body. By correlating the physiochemical properties of these compounds with their endpoint effects on the environment and human health, we hope to propose suggestions to industrial users regarding possible replacements for these molecules.
