Research
I received my Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the The University of Illinois at Chicago. My doctoral research focused on the effects of metal exposures on maternal and child health, with emphasis on metal mixtures, pregnancy outcomes, and the growth of infants and children. Within the scope of the STEEP center, I investigate the immunotoxicity of early life exposure to PFASs among children in the Faroe Islands.
