Academic Exam Rights
Final Exam Rights
1. No mandatory classes on Reading Days
a. No mandatory classes including Labs, Exams, presentations
b. Optional review sessions, counseling and, advising are allowed
2. No more than 2 Final Exams a day
a. You may reschedule an exam with your instructor
b. The third scheduled class during the week must allow alternative arrangements for you if others do not
3. Only 1 exam will be scheduled each period
a. If you have 2 exams scheduled in the same hour, report it to your instructor who will report it to a scheduling officer
b. If the scheduling officer can resolve it, take the exam in order of when they normally meet and reschedule the second exam
4. No exam will be scheduled beyond 3 hours
a. You do not need to stay beyond 3 hours unless you choose so
5. All Finals will be during the Final Exam Time
a. Take Home Exams must be accepted for full credit up until the class’s scheduled final exam period
b. No exams or tests may be assigned during the last 5 class days in place of a final exam
