The American Basketball Association’s (ABA) Providence Sky Chiefs are Rhode Island’s first professional basketball team in nearly three decades. The Sky Chiefs currently rank eighth out of over seventy teams and several URI alumni hold various roles on the team including Talent Development’s own Charles “Chuck” Watson.
