URI Talent Development Alumni and Scholars Support the Alumni of Color Network at Homecoming

Robert Britto-Oliveira and Wynston Wilson, both Talent Development alum and current academic advisors at URI, serve as co-chairs for URI’s Alumni of Color Network (ACN). The ACN was founded in 2007 with the purpose of providing personal and professional development, networking, advocacy, and community building opportunities for URI alumni of color. On Saturday, October 21st, the ACN hosted their annual Homecoming tent before the football game where both TD Scholars and Alum came out in great numbers. This was also the first year that the ACN extended their Homecoming festivities to Sunday where they collaborated with Vibes & Brunch in Providence.
