TD Nation Alumna Serves As Career Closet Inspiration

TD Nation alumna Jarolyn Fernandez is acknowledged as the inspiration for the URI Center for Career and Experiential Education (CCEE) “Career Closet” event.

During her senior year, Jarolyn was invited to speak at URI’s Big Chill Weekend. As a triple major, caretaker and part-time worker, Jarolyn, like many scholars, found it difficult to obtain professional clothing options. This sparked the director of the CCEE, Kim Stack, to organize a career closet for current students seeking that professional look.

The Career Closet is a major asset and very necessary for the URI community. Thank you Jarolyn, Kim and all those responsible for it. For more information on the Career Closet, click the following link:  http://bit.ly/2AahpzM
