50 years ago in 1968, the Program for Disadvantaged Youth welcomed it’s first 13 students. Today, Talent Development continues that tradition in welcoming back our scholars for the Spring semester.

In these last 49 years, we have witnessed student-led activism and its transformational impact on TD and the larger URI community. From the founding class to our current scholars, we are so grateful to stand on the shoulders of TD NATION and continue our legacy.
