I graduated from the University of Rhode Island via the Talent Development Program with a bachelor’s degree in communication and a Master of Arts in education. My professional career began at the Community College of Rhode Island working for the Educational Talent Search Program. In 1996, I returned to my alma mater to serve as an academic advisor for the Talent Development Program (TD), and in July 2000, I became the director of the program.

I have spent the better part of my life serving TD Scholars, guided by Talent Development’s core values of Respect, Academic Excellence, Mental Health and Wellness, and Scholar Success. I am dedicated to ensuring that every TD Scholar embodies these values daily.
