Biography

I am a first-generation college graduate and career educator who grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island. From an early age, I understood the power of education and the importance of having mentors who believe in your potential. That understanding has shaped every step of my professional journey. Throughout my career, I have served in both teaching and leadership roles in the K-12 setting, focusing on school improvement and student support.
I have led initiatives to strengthen academic programming and create learning environments where all students feel seen, heard, and valued. My commitment lies in working directly with students—helping them build confidence, develop skills, and persist through challenges inside and outside the classroom.
My commitment to student success and personal growth aligns closely with the mission of working on a college campus, where opportunity, access, and community can truly change lives.
