Biography

Bridgett A. King, Ph.D., is an associate professor and director of the Master of Public Administration Program at Auburn University. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Kent State University. Dr. King’s work on election administration has been supported by the National Science Foundation, the Oak Ridge Associated Universities, and the Massachusetts Institute for Technology Election Data and Science Lab. Dr. King’s work on election administration has been published in the Journal of Black Studies, Social Science Quarterly, Government Information Quarterly, Policy Studies, and the Journal of Information Technology and Politics. Dr. King regularly engages the election administration practitioner community through her professional affiliation as an instructor in the Election Center Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA) Program and public talks sponsored by the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) and Pantheon Analytics among others. Dr. King is also on the Planning Committee for the 2020 Election Science, Reform, and Administration (ESRA) Conference, and an Affiliated Researcher with the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama (PARCA).
