RI 4-H Tech Wizards is a mentoring program for Cranston, Rhode Island youth.  4-H Tech Wizards uses a combination of science and technology as a way of involving under-represented youth and their families in learning basic life and workforce skills.

The program is a partnership between the Cranston School systems Kid-venture program and the University of Rhode Island’s 4-H Program.  It is funded by a competitive grant through the Office of Juvenile Justice, to keep youth on a positive path to success.

The technological gains aim to aspire youth to excel in school and carry over to post-secondary education, productive jobs and careers, and community engagement.

RI Tech Wizards is a mentor program that teams up teams of youth with adult volunteer mentors working on fun technology driven projects.  The program is a partnership between the Cranston School system’s Kid-venture program and the University of Rhode Island’s 4-H Program.
