As of the Fall 2011 semester, the URI Student Loan Office will no longer mail your promissory notes to your home. We are now using E-SIGN via ACS. ACS offers a secure web-site for e-sign using your FAFSA pin for identity verification. Please note there are no co-signers for all CBSL student loans. It is the student’s responsibility to complete the e-sign process.
*CBSL Promissory notes: The link above will direct you to the ACS website to e-sign your Perkins, Nursing or Health Professions campus based student loan master promissory note along with other pertinent loan documents. These forms must be completed before your loan can be disbursed. For Nursing and Health Professions Student Loans, there is a mandatory three (3) day waiting period before any disbursements can be made due to Truth In Lending (TILA) requirements.

Collection Agencies and Consumer Credit Bureaus. All loan documents along with your personal information provided by you, is stored in a locked, fire-proof file cabinet. Access to your personal and confidential information is limited to the staff of the URI Student Loan Office.
