Biography

Josh Smith has spent the last fifteen years working with the School of Education director, program teams, educators, schools, local, state and national social service and policy agencies, to develop and enhance the development of educators and provide training and technical assistance in the process of outcomes assessment, accreditation and professional development. He provides leadership in the report development for state and federal accountability requirements per accreditation mandate, and in the integration of applied research activities for the School of Education and its academic programs.  Josh implements and manages student outcomes and data collection objectives and engages in grant proposal and report writing for funding agencies and appropriate collaborating audiences.

Josh completed his professional education at the University of Rhode Island and lives in South Kingstown, Rhode Island with his wife and 4 children.  He enjoys playing tennis, teaching his winter J-term course in Hawaii and other outdoor leisure pursuits by the beach.
