Is the GRE required?

The GRE is not required.


How long will it take to complete the program?

The program is approximately 14 months in length. Session 1 starts in September and Session 7 ends the following October.


How many interns does this program accept?

Students complete the program in cohort groups. There will be 2 cohorts (a total of 36 students) enrolled for 2017-18.

Can I get financial aid?

Students in the program are eligible for financial aid. Please see the Tuition and Fees tab for information.


Do I need to complete a thesis?

Our program is a non-thesis Master’s program. You will take research courses to provide you with the background needed to complete an independent research program in your concentration area.


Can I do this program part-time?

If you are accepted into a part-time dietetic internship program you will be able to complete your coursework following a similar but slightly extended timeline.


Am I a good candidate?

This program is a good fit for highly motivated, self-disciplined students. Online courses require just as much time, if not more, than face-to-face courses.


How much will the program cost?

Do I ever need to travel to URI?

The MS courses are 100% online but there is a required in-person orientation June 27-29 in Bensalem, PA.
