Rhode Island, USA
(Level I – 2017)
I am a co-director of the Rhode Island Writing Project, an affiliate of the National Writing Project, and I have been teaching for seven years. Three years ago, I traveled to Alabama as part of a Teaching American History grant to study the Civil Rights Movement in Montgomery and Selma, among several other towns and cities – it was the most incredible learning experience in my life. I also volunteer every Wednesday and Thursday to run our school’s Writing Center. I teach freshmen – I love their crazy energy and enthusiasm! I like to write, travel, hike, and experience the world.
