Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I moved to Greenwich, CT in 1994 after completing my Master’s Degree at Teachers College, Columbia University. I also hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. I am the new Director of The Center for Public Purpose at Greenwich Academy. This program is an innovative learning initiative, seeking to encourage students to discover and develop leadership and citizenship at all levels of community. I have designed humanitarian and social justice programs campus-wide. I served for 10 years as the Community Service Coordinator and Director of the Greenwich Academy Talent Enrichment Summer Program. I teach a course on Civil Rights and am introducing a nonviolence curriculum next year.
