Parking lot projects, July–August 2017

To provide well-maintained parking facilities throughout the year, Parking and Transportation Services, together with Capital Projects will complete repairs and maintenance from mid-July through August 28, 2017.

For your safety, please note any construction signs and barricades in place, enter parking lots slowly and be extremely cautious through any re-routed traffic areas. For construction worker safety, please pay attention to the equipment and personnel as they work throughout the project areas to improve our parking facilities.

Project Locations

Lot 6 & 7 (Fine Arts Lot): Large sections of this lot will be closed from July 17 through August 28 as the lot is completely milled, repaved, and new parking space stripes are painted. Although unpaved or paved without parking stripes, portions of the lot will be available for some parking, while other areas will be closed entirely. No long-term or overnight parking is permitted at this time. Any vehicle left there overnight will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Lot 26 & 27 (Keaney and Boss Arena lots): Also during mid-July and August , these lots will be painted and spaces re-striped. The contractor will block off one lot at a time, leaving the other available for parking.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this maintenance period.
