Trisan Timbrook, Pharm.D., MBA, BCPS


Dr. Timbrook is originally from Louisville, KY. He obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a MBA in 2013 from Sullivan University College of Pharmacy. Before fellowship, his postgraduate training included a PGY1 Pharmacy residency and a PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy residency at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). While at MUSC, he completed a teaching certificate and became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. His clinical research interests include integrations of rapid diagnostics and antimicrobial stewardship, comparative effectiveness research, and medical informatics with particular interest given to clinical decision supportsystems. His current research projects are focused on characterizations of optimal stewardship practices in the emergency department and further defining risks associated with recurrent Clostridium difficile infection.
