Aphasia Book Club

  • Description: The group reads a book a semester, and discusses the content; various supports are provided to facilitate your reading
  • Eligibility: Any person with Aphasia interested in being part of a group that reads and discusses books together

  • Meetings: Throughout the academic year (visitors welcome before deciding to join)
  • Cost: $3 per session, paid at the beginning of the semester

Hearing loss Education and Aural Rehabilitation (HEAR)

  • Description: The group focuses on education regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and hearing aids and assistive devices. Discussion and questions encouraged.
  • Eligibility: Any person in the community with hearing loss who would like to learn coping strategies and meet others with hearing loss.

  • Meetings: 5 sessions each semester, members are invited to attend one or all
