Adrianna Turano ‘22, double major in English and Political Science, interned at the Stockton Center for International Law at the Naval War College in Newport, RI.

“Being introduced to a wide variety of legal issues has been an amazing opportunity as an undergraduate student,” she says. “Not every student who wants to go to law school has the access to interact and learn from such a broad range of legal professionals and experts, and it is something I am very grateful to have been able to do at the Naval War College. Another highlight of this internship is attending lectures with law professors from around the country and hearing their perspectives and expertise on such a wide variety of legal issues from cyber law to maritime law. I have also built connections with wonderful professionals who have given me guidance and the confidence to succeed in my future career.”
