“The first day my internship was in person, I walked into an interview regarding Treasurer Magaziner’s decision to divest the state pension fund from Russian companies. On another day I helped set up and host the award ceremony for the treasurer’s distinguished service award,” he says. “Internships are often only a luxury that students who don’t have to work can afford, so helping with the costs associated with them is very important for giving everyone a fair chance.”
