Tyrai Jones ‘22, a double major in communication studies and economics, interned at the Office of the Rhode Island House Republican Caucus through the Joint Committee on Legislative Services.

“In an internship you actually get to experience the job, rather than learn about it in the classroom, and you’re presented with real responsibilities,” he says. “I am very grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the representatives and staff in the day to day operations of the state government. This experience helped me to become more confident as I move forward in the professional world.”
