What Students Can Expect:

The Corporate Experience Day program offers current URI College of Business students the opportunity to spend one day with corporate partners at their place of employment. Students attending in-person sessions will:

• Gain insight into the company
• Tour the office building
• Ask questions you may have about the career field
• Explore their day to day work
• Experience practical aspects of potential careers in that field

This Experience:

• Will take place during the J-Term holiday break
• Is free to ALL current URI College of Business students
• Requires having your OWN transportation to and from the companies
• Is a great opportunity to learn more about companies in your field and make professional connections!

What You Will Learn:

• History and trends of the industry
• A typical day within this industry
• Overview of an organization’s operations and staff divisions
• Skills needed to become employed by the organization
• Information about the industry and your hosts journey to their position
