Biography

Mary is a risk management professional focussed on utilizing data & analytics to drive better insurance marketing results and aid in enterprise risk management decision-making. She is very passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of insurance professionals and prioritizes developing entry level talent.

Currently Mary works for Marsh McLennan Agency where she Supervises the Midwest business insurance analytics team. She has been with MMA for nearly 5 years and has completely overhauled the analytics practice, growing the team from 2 to 8 professionals, implementing a client-focussed service strategy region-wide, and increasing analytics usage over tenfold across the agency. She was named Colleague of the Year in 2024.

Mary received her Bachelor of Mathematics from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. She then moved to London, UK and completed her Master of Arts in International Business at the University of Greenwich. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the University of Rhode Island, with research centered on identifying and correcting for the emerging education gap for young professionals who have entered the mostly remote/hybrid workforce post-2020.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys traveling and is passionate about music. Many of her adventures are based around must-see concerts in far away places.
