Undergraduate students may pursue two BSBA majors within the College of Business. Eligible majors include Accounting, Business Analytics and Intelligence, Finance, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management.
Students with a 3.20 GPA or higher and strong academic motivation are generally well-prepared for the rigor of a second major.
Double Major Requirements
- Students who transferred into the College of Business with 75+ earned credits may request to add a second BSBA major through an advisor.
- Business core courses count toward both majors.
- When courses overlap between majors, shared required courses count for both. If a course is required for one major and an elective in the other, it applies to the major that requires it.
- Students must complete all required courses for each major.
- Double majors typically do not have free electives and may need summer, J-term, or additional semesters to finish.
- The second major must include at least 21 unique credits beyond the first major.
- If a major does not offer enough elective options to meet the 21-credit requirement, students should meet with an advisor and may need to petition the COB Scholastic Standing Committee.
- Students earn one degree with both majors listed on the transcript.
- Students may not pursue three majors within one BSBA degree.
