Labor and Employment Law Conference

URI’s Schmidt Center for Labor Relations and Human Resources is presenting its Labor and Employment Law Conference on April 14th, 2023. This year, the Center’s 35th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference will be hosted at Roger Williams University School of Law’s Appellate Court. The conference features labor and employment lawyers, academics, and speakers from federal and state agencies. Recent topics have included Rhode Island Court updates, legal implications of new human resource practices, employment arbitration cases, federal court decisions, National Labor Relations Board decisions, and federal discrimination cases. This spring, the program will include a fireside chat with the Honorable Francis X. Flaherty. The conference is open to the public and will benefit anyone working in the labor and employment fields.

This program is approved for MCLE and SHRM PDC credits.
