Biography
As the second-generation President of Electronic Imaging Materials (EIM), Alex helped build the labeling innovator into a leader in focus areas such as scientific research and e-commerce distribution. Customers often require complex data management with simultaneous multi-site delivery to end user locations that now span over one hundred different countries from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. He holds a patent (with EIM colleagues Jason Wilder and Juan Munoz) for one particularly innovative laboratory labeling solution.
EIM has a long history of engaging with nearby colleges and universities. Alex regularly presents guest lectures including “Predictive Analytics to Forecast the Future”, “Risk Management & Artificial Intelligence in Project Management”, “Implementing Sales Tax Systems after The Wayfair Sales Tax Court Decision”, “How KPI Dashboards Transform Performance” with Jason Allman, “How Mentorship Helps Small Businesses Grow” with Brittany Migneault, and “Successful Transitions for Family Businesses” with Paul and Sussan Henkel.
The Keene State College Alumni Association recently recognized EIM with the Outstanding Service Award for those guest lectures, practice interviews for graduating seniors, class project feedback, and paid internships that frequently were extended into additional semesters or full-time employment. Alex is continuing his experience building internship programs into new research on how recruiting new professionals through effective internships may be able to partly offset the demographic challenges that confront recruitment outside major metropolitan centers.
Alex received a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Organizational Communication from Plymouth State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Water Resources Management from University of New Hampshire. He lives in southwestern New Hampshire with his wife and three children, where they enjoy alpine skiing in the winter, and walking in the woods with their Labradoodle the other three seasons of the year.
