Biography

Alexandra (Alex) Cain is a full-time lecturer and advisor in the marketing department of the University of Rhode Island. Alex’s career has spanned from brand management in consumer-packaged goods to services marketing in the financial industry. Alex earned her BA from Boston University and MBA from Cornell University, where she was a Roy H. Park Leadership Fellow. 

Post MBA, Alex worked for Colgate-Palmolive in New York, Switzerland, and Germany, where she held a range of brand management roles focused on growing Colgate’s oral care portfolio. In 2018, she joined Fidelity Investments to focus on services and technology marketing in the wealth management category. In 2022, she joined URI to help cultivate the next generation of talented marketing leaders.
