Biography

Devendra (Dave) Kale is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the College of Business at the University of Rhode Island. He received his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He also holds a Masters in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.

Prior to academia, Professor Kale worked for more than 8 years in management consulting, petroleum refining and financial services. His corporate experience includes positions in various functions including International Accounting, Financial Management, Corporate Strategy, International Business Development as well as M&A.

He has a rich work experience spanning US, India, Africa and China
