Biography

Dhvani Badwaik is an incoming Assistant Professor of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the URI College of Business. She holds a PhD in strategic management from the University of Connecticut School of Business. Her research interests include economic short-termism and how various time mechanisms influence managerial decision-making; executive compensation; corporate purpose, and stakeholder strategy. She teaches Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Prior to URI, she taught a Strategy, Policy and Planning capstone course to seniors at the UConn School of Business. Prior to academia, she worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and for Dell Technologies, EMC, and Intel Corporation.
