Biography
Dr. Robert J. Glew, CFP®, CTFA is an Assistant Teaching Professor of
Finance in the College of Business at University of Rhode Island,
teaching MBA 504 and financial planning courses. Dr. Glew has more
than 20 years of financial industry experience working for Bank of
America and served in leadership roles within their Private Bank.
Dr. Glew’s research interests focus on estate and retirement planning, and family socialization about money. Dr. Glew’s presented his research at the 2025 AFCPE ® Symposium and will be presenting his research at the 2026 Annual URI DBA Scholars Conference and the 2026 CFP Board Connections Conference. In addition, Dr. Glew published research in the International Journal of Bank Marketing.
Dr. Glew is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) consultant for the American College of Financial Services and founded a wealth planning firm.
