Biography

Francesca is an accomplished educator and marketing professional with 30+ years of experience working with small, mid-size, and Fortune 500 profit, non-profit, private, and public companies and individuals. Currently, she is focused on developing curricula and providing instruction for various audiences – businesses, civil service, the community, and students (elementary, secondary, and post-secondary).

For the past seven years, she has worked at Utica University in various roles, most recently as the Lead Education Experience Assistant for the MBA program. She runs the technology for the smart classroom and assists the professors in creating and maintaining their courses for the blended program. In addition, she is an adjunct instructor for graduate and undergraduate programs in Utica’s business school. She teaches a variety of upper-level marketing programs, including the capstone, global consumer, markets, and logistics, as well as the seminar for incoming first-year students in the business school.

As a goal-oriented and results-driven individual, Francesca’s strengths include developing and executing strategies, building and maintaining relationships, and stewarding initiatives. She is best known for her ability to organize chaos. She has an MBA from Utica University. Her research area is post-enrollment communications to students, focusing on identifying the motivators that will help post-secondary institutions retain students in an increasingly competitive environment.

For a year after high school Francesca was a Rotary Exchange student in Helsinki, Finland. Her favorite book is the Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. Her proudest moment was becoming a mother. Her biggest accomplishment is surviving and thriving after a decade of working in advertising in New York City. She resides with her two daughters in New Hartford, New York, located just below the Adirondack foothills. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her girls and their two dogs, Misty London Trouble and Chloe Princess.
