Biography

Dr. Yuksel earned his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. He worked at the UMASS Boston and Texas A&M University Corpus Christi before joining URI. His research interests are empirical asset pricing, investments, mutual funds, active portfolio management, institutional investors, behavior finance, and financial disclosure. His teaching interests are portfolio management, investments, quantitative finance, python for finance, financial econometrics & statistics, FinTech, big data analytics, valuation & financial enterprises, financial management, and artificial intelligence/machine learning. Dr. Yuksel will be teaching Financial Technologies (FinTech) and the Introduction to Data Analytics.
