Biography

Helen Croskell has worked in the Global Energy Sector for nearly three decades in London, Houston and Calgary. Her roles have included Economics; modelling upstream fiscal regimes for management decision-making, Corporate Strategy; creating 30-year oil and gas strategies for Statoil Gulf of Mexico, Alaska and Canada, and Mergers and Acquisitions; acquiring exploration assets globally and finding partner companies for existing assets to diversify risks. She is currently working for a start-up looking to acquire an asset base and has a strong personal interest in Renewable Energy.
Helen has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Birmingham, England, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Helen enjoys travel, and has several sporting interests including scuba diving, skiing and pole vaulting.

Research

Helen is researching the applicability of contract terms governing offshore hydrocarbon production in developing countries to offshore wind farms to understand whether the application of traditional hydrocarbon economic and non-financial levers could increase attractiveness of offshore wind in those countries.
