Biography
John Minichiello is a transformational leader that has dedicated his career to building solutions for effective and efficient healthcare delivery while striving for an exceptional and seamless patient-centric care experience. With decades of experience leading healthcare providers and systems reimbursed by global payment and other value-based payment models, John has held leadership and management positions in several Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), integrated care delivery networks and health plans across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He has led hospitals and clinicians in performance improvement efforts within various population health and value-based payment models, focused on bending the cost curve while enabling shared decision making, integrating physical with behavioral health services, addressing social determinants of health, and building a true culture of health.
In his current role as principal of Minichiello Consulting, John advises his clients in organizational structure development and financial alignment, physician engagement and performance improvement, care redesign and delivery, analytics and information technology (IT) deployment, and risk contracting and other reimbursement approaches for providers participating in accountable care organizations (ACOs), global capitation arrangements, or other value-based payment methodologies.

M.B.A. and Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology: Northeastern University
He served as an adjunct professor within the Master of Public Health program at Boston University’s School of Public Health.
In addition, John is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
