Kimberly Page

Biography

Dr. Kimberly Page worked in criminal law after graduation from law school. She was a public defender for Snohomish County in Everett, Washington, and later the City Prosecutor for the City of Oak Harbor. She lived in Surrey County, England for three years and wrote the yearly criminal law updates for the American Bar Association’s International Lawyer. Since 2004, her residency is North Kingstown, RI where she taught at various colleges and Universities before becoming a lecturer of business law and the power of business at URI. Her current law practice centers on new business start-ups and estate law. She is a member of the Center for Mediation and Collaboration of RI, and prior to the pandemic was a regular mediator in the Kent County courts.

Dr. Page is active in her community and was elected to the North Kingstown School Committee from 2006-2014. She chaired the committee from 2011-2014. In 2020, she was elected to the five member board of the North Kingstown Town Council, where she serves as the president pro-tem. She helped organize a memorial to North Kingstown residents who died of COVID-19. She is the President of the Board of Directors for the North Kingstown Food Pantry. She is active in board policy, governance, financial planning, and understanding best practices for nonprofits. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the North Kingstown United Methodist Church.

In her free time, she is an avid reader of nonfiction and the news, takes piano lessons, and makes hard cider from the apple trees at her home.
