Biography

Kara is a fourth-year Ph.D. Candidate emphasizing Business Analytics, Operations, and Supply Chain Management at the University of Rhode Island. Her research lies in data-driven analytics and theory-based process design relating to the interface of multi-tier supply chains and information technology, as well as health IT.

Kara has industry experience in medical audit for the hospital and data analysis for health insurance. She has taught BAI211-Managerial Decision Support Systems and MKT467- Customer Analytics in the College of Business. In recognition of her commitment, she received URI COB Outstanding Teaching Award in 2023.
