Biography

Marc Odo is the Director of Research for Swan Global Investments, an investment management company specializing in options based strategies. Marc is responsible for Swan’s thought leadership, which includes white papers, blogs, industry conference appearances, and educational programs.

Marc has spent his entire 30-year career in the world of finance and investing. Prior to Swan, Marc was with Zephyr Associates, a FinTech firm producing quantitative analysis of mutual funds, ETFs, and hedge funds. Over the course of his career Marc has earned the CFA, FRM, CFP, CAIA, and CIPM designations and is looking forward to the challenge of the DBA.

Born in Hawaii, Marc grew up in Seattle and is a graduate of the University of Washington. He’s spent the last 20+ years in the New York City area and currently lives in Westchester County. Over the last year Marc and his wife Lauren welcomed their first- and then their second – children into the world.
