Biography

Mark currently serves as the Medicaid Managed Care Director for the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS). He administers the Rhode Island Medicaid managed care contracts and Children’s oral health program.

In 2016, Mark graduated from SUNY Stony Brook with a Master’s in Public Policy and in May 2020, he graduated from the University of Rhode Island Master’s in Business Administration program and a certificate in Human Resources. He also received his bachelor’s degree from Providence College majoring in Political Science.

Prior to his role at EOHHS, Mark was an educator in Shenyang, China and the Providence Public Schools. Mark’ research area is health care reform related to the development of accountable care organizations efforts to improve health outcomes while controlling the increasing costs of care for vulnerable and at-risk populations.
