Biography

Melissa graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Apparel Design.

After realizing that her passion resides in textiles of the past rather than fashion of the future, she decided to pursue a Master’s degree with a concentration on textile conservation. Her research interests revolve around feminist fiber art and the history of “women’s work.”
