Biography

Michael believes that life is short and so why not live as many lives as possible, professionally speaking.  His journey so far has included work in public safety, established companies, startups, small business ownership, and franchising. Most recently, he has flourished as an entrepreneur owning three franchise locations of a national brand, in three different states. Comparable to his love of business ownership is his passion to help others through various consulting and business coaching roles where he focuses on educating and mentoring his clients over the traditional advising and expertise sharing.

In his “previous lives” Michael was a professional firefighter and emergency medical technician for over a decade, owned multiple small owner-operator businesses, and developed marketing and sales teams for assorted startups in the software and leafy green industries.

Through his various careers, there has always been one constant that Michael continues to value above all else. His passion for mentoring, teaching, and developing leadership staff and associates. Doing so is a vast responsibility and greater honor and being considered a mentor is a high compliment that he cherishes deeply.

He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Rhode Island. His research will focus the consumerism in men’s health and wellness.

During his free time between work and school, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters (who are both currently enrolled in college) and black lab, exercising, and traveling as much as possible.
