Biography

Renato Fernandes is a Brazilian Professor of Marketing and Sales with 20 years of experience in the sales field. He earned his bachelor’s degree in social communication in 2004 and worked in different roles until he found what he loved: to help companies grow, because growth is an indication of vitality – a company that is not growing is dying. Thus, growth enablement through sales should not be an ad hoc activity but one that should be conducted in every moment of a company’s existence. No business survives without sales. Even in the realm of venture creation, entrepreneurship needs sales to sail.

Through training, consulting, mentoring and many years of practice, Renato Fernandes have been developing his skills as a salesperson and leader, to help dozens of Brazilians companies grow their business. In his quest for professional development, he accepted the offer to work as a full-time faculty at ISE Business School in 2015 where he teaches Negotiation, Communication and Sales to executives, national and international companies and students of the Executive Master of Business Administration.
Thanks to the support of ISE Business School, he managed to finish his master’s degree with honors in 2018. Now he wants to make a leap as an Executive Professor deepening his capacity for practical research of scaleup ecosystems. He intends to answer how growth-focused intervention can foster socio-economic prosperity, wealth generation, and well-being.
