Scott Asadorian is a full-time lecturer in the marketing department at the College of Business at the University of Rhode Island, consultant to entrepreneurs and leadership mentor.

After earning his BS and M.B.A. from the University of Rhode Island, Scott started his career at Vector Healthsystems, where served as a consultant assisting senior executives in the growth and operational efficiencies of the business. Shortly thereafter, he began an executive role at the Rhode Island Blood Center (RIBC).

As chief operating officer of RIBC, Scott was responsible for the growth and diversification of the organizations’ business activities. Under his leadership, RIBC grew to one of the most successful donor recruiting organizations in the country. In addition, Scott led the development of the strategic planning activities, helping to diversify the center’s product and service offerings.

Scott left RIBC in August 2018 after completing his career as Executive Director in order to pursue his passion for teaching, consulting and volunteering. In addition to teaching full time for his alma mater, Scott is also actively involved in the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. He currently serves as a mentor at MassChallenge and VMS of RI. In addition, Scott is a guest speaker at the various business accelerators in the state covering topics such as the importance of vision as well as tips for creating sound strategy.

Scott is an active member of Generation Church and serves as a volunteer board member at The Greene School, CareNet and RI Family Policy Alliance. Scott lives in North Kingstown.
