Why did you choose to study at URI?
After years of working across different financial institutions, I felt my next move would be best suited to go to a place where I can contribute to the knowledge domain in the world of finance. URI has attracted to me for three reason. Firstly my research interest aligns with several faculty in the College of Business. Secondly URI has a rich history of delivering high quality research among the colleges in New England, and I truly wanted to be in a place where I can learn and improve my skills as a researcher by working with the best minds in the campus Lastly I chose to study at URI because it has the perfect balance between rigorous academic standards as well as intensive pursuit of research, which I believe will make me a strong capable candidate the academia job market down the years.
What is your favorite thing about URI?
We have deeply discounted bus service with RIPTA that makes it so accessible and affordable to commute to the campus. The campus is very beautiful, I would simply stroll down the quad when I need some fresh air. Lastly, I love the people around me: eveyone is so welcoming and respectful, it truly makes me feel at home.
