The Women in Finance (WIF) Club at URI empowers female students to become the next generation of successful financial leaders. Our mission is to create an environment that fosters growth, excellence, and professional development in the finance industry. Key events include Finance & Investing 101, casual and formal networking with female finance professionals, and alumni panel discussions. We also host Poker Power sessions, where students learn to play poker and develop essential skills like risk assessment, negotiation, discipline, and reading people. Key competencies for success in finance. WIF serves as a catalyst to inspire and educate female students about opportunities in the finance industry.
