Animal Science Major Kylie Mastropolo on Interning with Buttonwood Park Zoo April 30, 2025 - Kylie Mastropolo, an animal science and technology major, pursued an internship at Buttonwood Park Zoo this semester. “One of the most rewarding parts was observing the harbor seals over time and learning to identify their individual personalities and behavioral patterns,” she says.

Senior Spotlight: Johanyx Rodriguez (Cell and Molecular Biology) April 22, 2025 - "I chose CELS because of the close knit environment in the cell and molecular biology department," Johanyx Rodriguez says. "I loved the size of the department, and I felt comfortable with reaching out to professors. The research in CELS is so diverse--ranging from using molecular techniques in oysters to investigating the mechanisms behind neurodegeneration!"
