Why Your Gift Matters

Ana Soares
Ana Soares – Like many adult students, Ana Soares left college to raise a family. Though she wanted to return finish her degree, family and financial obligations prevented her from getting that diploma. Instead she worked full-time at Channel One in Central Falls where she developed curriculums for substance abuse prevention programs in schools. “It just never seemed like the right time to go back to school,” Ana said.

The Alan Shawn Feinstein College of Education and Professional Studies is devoted to educating and preparing teachers, adult learners, and professionals to be leaders in their careers and communities.
We are grateful to our many alumni, business and community partners for their commitment to the success of our students.
Support for the College can take many forms and can take place through a gift to the Fund for URI,  a new or existing endowment to support student scholarships, sponsorship of college-related events and programming, and support for capital projects.

By providing a gift of any type, including a planned gift, you are helping to ensure the future success of the College of Education and Professional Studies and its students.
