As one college with programs on two campuses, we offer a collaborative approach to higher education: (a) preparing high quality K-12 teachers and education professionals, (b) continuing and advanced education programs for working adults and, (c) academic and professional development opportunities for returning students.
Our undergraduate and graduate degree programs and courses are offered in the School of Education (Kingston), in the School of Professional & Continuing Studies (Providence), and online to encourage diverse, high quality, and rigorous learning environments in a variety of learning environments.
The College also includes the Office of Strategic Initiatives (OSI) – a collaborative entrepreneurial entity that partners with education, non-profit, and business organizations. OSI is designed to create innovative academic and professional development programming that grow the 21st century skills necessary for an economically viable Rhode Island workforce.
If you are a prospective student, I invite you explore our degrees and course offerings (https://web.uri.edu/ceps/) and how we can assist you in creating a unique URI experience.
There are no limitations on learning. If you are a current student, thank you for choosing our college for your educational experience.
Our staff, faculty, and the Dean’s office will do our very best to support your academic, professional development, and life-long learning goals.
Dean R. Anthony Rolle, Ph.D.
