
The Academic Skills Center is located on the second floor of the Shepard Building in Room 239. The Center offers a variety of services to all URI students which include: Peer Tutoring, Disability, Access, and Inclusion (DAI), Counseling Services and Student Support and Advocacy Services (SSAS).

Tutoring Services
Tutoring services assist students who would like to sharpen their learning skills and improve their academic performances.
Tutors are knowledgeable, supportive, and eager to work with you. Tutorials are available in writing, math, and science and are provided free of charge for all URI students.

Experience is preferred, but often is not necessary. We provide ongoing training.
